Pacific CBT is seeking a licensed therapist for a part-time position on our team.
Located in the Lower Pacific Heights area of San Francisco, Pacific CBT provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based therapy for concerns including anxiety, depression, work stress, life transition and relationship issues to adults of all ages. The ideal candidate is a LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, Psy.D., or Ph.D. with a passion for working directly with clients while bringing enthusiasm for ongoing learning and career development. The strongest candidates will have experience and training in CBT, as well as an interest in furthering those skills. Pacific CBT is committed to providing high-level, ongoing training to our clinical staff.
The successful candidate will be able to offer both in-person and telehealth services to our clients. One partial day in the office is required.
There is the expectation to available for up to 15 hours per week or about 10 to 12 client hours. The candidate must also be willing to work early morning or evening appointments and/or Saturdays. As caseload builds, full-time employment may be a future option.
Skills and requirements:·
++ Active license to practice psychotherapy in the State of California, in good standing·
++ One year of post-licensure experience·
++ Experience and training in DBT, ACT and mindfulness-based therapies·
++ Specialized training and experience treating anxiety disorders·
++ Familiarity with providing exposure therapy·
++ Experience with group therapy·
++ Experience working with children, families, and couples is a bonus·
++ Strong diagnostic and assessment skills·
++ Well-organized and detail-oriented
